If you are frustrated with your game, not getting the results you think you deserve and would like to start having more fun then we have a guarantee for you — our coaching will offer a fresh insight into your game.

Our primary goal with our coaching is simple — to lower your scores!

In order for us to achieve our goals we must understand the process of developing skills and transferring them to the golf course. Ultimately there are three essential skills we will be developing during your journey with us.

Ball Control

The ability to control the direction, distance, curvature, trajectory of a golf ball and make it repeatable.

Decision Making

Having a sound strategy to play with on the golf course and to manage your expectations.

Mind Control

Learn to manage all those emotions that can help or harm your game.

Whether you are a high handicapper or on the path to the 70s, our approach has been proven time and time again to work, which is why we are happy to guarantee your improvement.

The Pathway

Step 1

Game Evaluation and Analysis

On commencing any coaching with us we will head out onto the golf course to observe your game and identify the strengths and weaknesses that will provide focus for our upcoming sessions and aid us in shooting lower scores. We will start to build our coach/student relationship and create a solid plan of improvement by setting SMART goals. It is also our opportunity to look at your technique, identify your natural movements and to benchmark different skill sets.

Step 2

Coaching Sessions

This is the bulk of your programme and where we will focus on developing the three essential skills of ball control, decision making and mind control. How will we do this? By taking you through a mixture of different training sessions which cover different shots and topics such as skill acquisition, purposeful practice, training under pressure, golf course play and much more. You will learn about the different techniques, how to control distance as well as different strategies needed to execute the variety of shots we face on a day-to-day basis. The Scoring Zone (100 yards and in) is so important to improving your scores. These sessions will cover different areas of the short game: putting, chipping, pitching and bunkers. Long game sessions will cover tee shot and approach play strategy as well as improving your impact skills that include: strike, club face and low point control. You will also learn about how to practice effectively and track your progress over time to monitor your improvement. A player cannot expect to improve without structured practice sessions. In order to see improvement in your skills you must also receive feedback and knowledge about your results. We will be there to offer the necessary feedback for you to continue learning and developing as a player. Practice sessions are always fun, engaging and provide confidence to the player.

Step 3

Golf Course Transference

Crunch time! Transfering your skills to the golf course is what matters. We need to get you off the practice ground and onto the course. By putting you in the real world with a variety of playing conditions and adding pressure, we can see what skills may break down. Or perhaps your emotions and decision making are affecting performance? By spending time with you on the golf course we will be able to discover these breakdowns and only then, will we know what still needs some development. We can adjust our focus accordingly through more training and play until we get the desired improvement and results. A playing session is a great opportunity to discuss your on course decision making process, observe your short game execution and current ball control skills. Students will also have an opportunity to ask any questions that may come up during a round of golf. On course coaching sessions provide you with an excellent learning environment and opportunity to improve your game. Having a sound strategy is so important to scoring well. You will learn about how to pick mathematically correct targets based on a number of factors including shot distance, pin position and hazards.
